Technology Education at Central Connecticut State University Central Connecticut State University graduation and beyond -- Technology Education at Central Connecticut State University
graduation certification

Student-teachers who have planned carefully during their prior seven semesters can focus their energies on student-teaching -- not on last-minute graduation details.

Requirements

Apply for Graduation one year before you intend to graduate. Typical deadlines are May 1 for the following May graduation; August 1 for the following August graduation; and December 1 for the following December graduation.

Plan ahead...

By the time you have completed 90 credits applicable to the program, you should know exactly when you will student teach (12 credits) -- and you should have a plan for completing the remaining credits for your degree.

how to run a degree evaluation

Because CCSU has an "approved teacher preparation program,"  you may use the "short form" for certification (ED 170A [pdf]). You fill out page 1, and page 2 is completed by CCSU's certification officer.

More information is available via the CCSU School of Education's certification page.
