Technology & Engineering Education students typically apply for admission to CCSU's Professional Program for Teacher Certification at the beginning of their third year in the program. You must be accepted into the professional program before taking any professional education courses. You cannot student-teach or graduate until you are accepted. Applications are accepted only twice per year:  September 10 and February 10.

1. Admission to and retention in the professional education program

2. Total applicable earned credits: 82 (86 recommended)

3. Successful completion of EDTE 314, TE 399, TE 221, TE 245, CET 223, ET 241

4. Successful completion of 32 general education credits (36 recommended), including at least half of the International and Foreign-Language requirements.
