Technology Education... ...is hands-on, problem-based learning. The goal of technology education is to help all K-12 students become technologically literate. A technologically literate person has the knowledge, skills, and experiences to make decisions about technology. These decisions range from their choices as consumers to questions about public policy. Middle– and high-school technology courses are usually centered on topics like electronic and video communication, engineering, graphic design, networking, robotics, technological impacts, and transportation. ►TeachTechnologyEducation.com ►From the ITEA: What is Technology Teaching? • Why Teach Technology? |
