CCSU students majoring in technology education take courses in three broad areas:

General Education. These courses, including composition, history, literature, math, science, and elective classes, provide the foundation for further learning.  ► general education at CCSU

Teaching Preparation. Students begin taking technology education courses during their first year, and begin observations in public schools during their second or third term. By the time they become student teachers in their fourth and final year, they have well over 100 hours of field work with K-12 students.   teacher education at CCSU

Technology Content. TE majors take courses in a variety of technologies, including computer-aided drafting, communication systems, material processing, and robot design.
